North East property experts, Carver Group approached Odyssey Systems in need of a new telephone system. They felt that they had outgrown their old system and having six locations, they wanted to increase the efficiency of communications.      

Carver Group decided that they wanted to review how they were using their current systems.

After initial discussions Odyssey Systems completed a full telecommunication audit and after reviewing the results recommended a hosted Mitel MI Voice system. The system delivered improved levels of service and also helped in the drive to improve efficiency and cost reductions.

The hosted Mitel system also included user headsets, as due to the nature of their job, each estate agent tends to spend a lot of time on the telephone and the computer, meaning that it’s great to be able to have both hands free while talking. The telephone system is now connected to their computer database; Encore e which helps too, as it allows incoming calls to show up on their computer as they work.

This integration also means that they can make outgoing calls merely by clicking on a contact on their screen, which makes the whole integration between talking on the phone and working on the computer seamless.

Each extension is voicemail activated, so no call will be missed whilst being on the phone and even the facility for unanswered branch calls to be routed to head office, where they are still answered with the appropriate branch greeting.
