RELEASE OF THE IPHONE 4S FAILS TO EXCITE LOCAL TELECOMS BOSS
Mike Odysseas, managing director of Odyssey Systems, believes businesses would benefit from saving their mobile phone upgrade investments, rather than rush for the iPhone 4S.
Odyssey Systems, the Tees Valley-based business communications specialist has branded the release of the highly anticipated iPhone 4S as a huge anticlimax.
The iPhone 4S is set to become one of the fastest selling iPhone models to date, with pre-orders topping one million in just one day, breaking the previous single day record of 600,000 for the iPhone 4 back in 2010.
Odyssey Systems are currently trialing the iPhone 4S and test emerging technology prior to offering it to its clients.
He said: “Although the new model has been hugely popular there is too much buildup and unnecessary drama surrounding the new model.
“The hype was undoubtedly magnified by the sad and untimely death of Apple co-founder Steve Jobs. But if you stand back and take a look at the new model the only significant update is the camera.
